Meditation Meets Art

The power within us needs no tools or accessories to be accessed. However, humans have always used rituals and spiritual items as symbols of their connection to deities, higher selves, and their bond with others. Objects that bear special meaning and purpose become reminders and symbols, and that is why at èvaco art, Evi creates art as a ritual. It initiates, connects deeply to the piece, and makes it a part of one's personal practice.

Evi Michailidou, the artist behind èvaco, creates abstract art using mixed media: paint, thread, plaster, words, poetry. She finds inspiration in exploring the self and one's place in the world. Using gestural painting and meditative strokes, she expresses a fusion of elements often in the same piece.

After 12 years of experience as a makeup artist and further study in yoga, Evi learned to remove herself from her art and focus on the person experiencing it. This approach is evident in her work at Évaco, whether creating silk scarves, guided meditation retreats, art prints, or commissioned pieces.

We, at èvaco.art, believe that our products are more than just objects. They are symbols of our connection to the world, to each other and to ourselves. When you purchase from us, you help us support important causes around the globe. We don't believe in only giving to charities seasonally; we donate 10% of our profits year-round, not just during the holidays. Our charity product lines donate 50-100% of profits to help support meaningful nonprofit groups and their vital work. We're not perfect, but we strive to make the best choices within our abilities.
