Meditation Meets Art

The power within us needs no tools or accessories to be accessed. However, humans have always used rituals and spiritual items as symbols of their connection to deities, higher selves, and their bond with others. Objects that bear special meaning and purpose become reminders and symbols, and that is why at èvaco art, Evi creates art as a ritual. It initiates, connects deeply to the piece, and makes it a part of one's personal practice.

Evi Michailidou, the artist behind evaco, creates meditative art using mixed media: pastels, paint, thread, plaster, words, poetry. She finds inspiration in exploring the self and one's place in the world. Using gestural painting and abstract strokes, or detailed inking and embroidery, she expresses a fusion of elements often in the same piece.

After 12 years of experience as a makeup artist and further study in yoga, Evi learned to remove herself from her art and focus on the person experiencing it. This approach is evident in her work at évaco, whether creating silk scarves, guided meditation experiences, art prints, or commissioned pieces.

At evaco, we believe our creations are more than just objects—they are invitations to pause, reflect, and connect. Through our meditation letters and art, we offer moments of stillness in a fast-moving world. When you support Évaco, you become part of a community that values mindfulness, beauty, and meaningful connection. Giving back is woven into our ethos—we donate 10% of our profits year-round to causes that matter, and select creations contribute even more. We may not be perfect, but every step we take is intentional, guided by art, awareness, and purpose.
